**Islam: The second largest
world religion...and growing**

Estimates of the total number of Muslims range from 0.7 to 1.8 billion worldwide and 1.1 to 7 million in the U.S.  ₃ We accept the best estimate as 1.57 billion, concluded by the Pew Forums. About 23% of all people on Earth follow Islam. The religion is currently in a period of rapid growth.

Christianity is currently the largest religion in the world. It is followed by about 33% of all people -- a percentage that has remained stable for decades. If current trends continue, Islam will become the most popular world religion sometime in the mid-21^st century.

** Narrated Sad: Allah’s Apostle said, “He who eats seven ‘Ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them.”

Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 65 Hadith 356

সাদ থেকে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বলেছেন, "যে ব্যক্তি প্রতিদিন সকালে সাতটি আজওয়া খেজুর খাবে, যেদিন সে এগুলো খাবে, সেদিন তার কোনো বিষ বা যাদু আক্রান্ত হবে না।"
সহীহ আল-বুখারী - বই 65 হাদিস 356

** Narrated Aisha: When the last verses of Surat-al-Baqara were revealed, The Prophet (peace be upon him) went out (of his house to the Mosque) and said, “The trade of alcohol has become illegal.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 34 Hadith 429 

আয়েশা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ যখন সূরা-আল-বাকারার শেষ আয়াত নাযিল হয়, তখন নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) (তাঁর ঘর থেকে মসজিদে) বের হয়ে বললেন, মদের ব্যবসা অবৈধ হয়ে গেছে।
সহীহ আল-বুখারী - বই 34 হাদিস 429

         

** Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “No Muslim whose three children died will go to the Fire except for Allah’s oath (i.e. everyone has to pass over the bridge above the lake of fire).”

Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 23 Hadith 342 **

আবু হুরায়রা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ নবী (সাঃ) বলেছেন, “কোন মুসলমান যার তিন সন্তান মারা গেছে সে আল্লাহর শপথ ব্যতীত জাহান্নামে যাবে না (অর্থাৎ প্রত্যেককে আগুনের হ্রদের উপরে সেতুর উপর দিয়ে যেতে হবে)।
